Our Vision

Our vision is to be a love led church.  What does that mean?  It comes from the verse – “We love, because He first loved us.” (1 John 4:19). Loving God and loving others is the foundation of our church.

Our Mission

Our mission is to demonstrate the love of Christ to our community.  How?  By loving God, loving each other and loving our neighbor.

Loving God

Jesus replied: “Love the Lord Your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” (Matthew 22:37

Making a growing relationship with the Lord the number one priority of our lives.

Following the leading of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God (John 14:15).

Engaging in private and corporate worship of the Lord.

Engaging in the private and corporate study of God’s Word.

Loving Each Other

“By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:35)

Promoting harmony and unity with our words and actions (Ephesians 5:19).

Serving one another – using our spiritual gifts, resources, and abilities to meet the spiritual (fellowship, discipleship, worship, etc.) and physical needs (food, clothing, shelter, etc.) of those in the congregation (1 Peter 4:10; John 3:17).

Going above and beyond, self-sacrificially and with humility (Philippians 2:3).

Loving Our Neighbor

“The entire law is summed up in a single command: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.”” (Galatians 5:14)

Ministering to the spiritual and physical needs of those who live near our homes.

Pooling resources as a church to reach out to needs in our community that are greater than we can meet individually.

Hosting events that bless our community with positive social interaction or provide helpful relevant information.
